Job Title: Office Administration Faculty
Job Summary/Basic Function:

Brazosport College seeks applicants for Office Administration Faculty. The position is a nine month position, reporting to the Division Chair of Construction Trades, Computer Technology and Office Administration. Responsibilities include preparing curriculum and classroom instruction for office administration classes using a variety of traditional and innovative teaching methods; assists in the advisement of students; serves on various assigned college committees.

Pay Rate: Nine-month, non-tenure track position; salary follows approved salary structure; excellent fringe benefits; Report date: fall semester of 2017

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Office Administration (Bachelor’s preferred) from a regionally accredited college or university; minimum of three years of non-teaching wage earning experience in the occupational field; interest in alternative instructional delivery methods; excellent written and oral communication skills; other qualities, experiences, and skills that enhance one’s value to the institution; exceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given special consideration as long as the College’s minimum educational credentials are met.

Desirable Qualifications:

Previous teaching experience desirable.
