Job Title: Part Time GED and ESL Instructional Aide/Tester (Pool)
Job Summary/Basic Function:

The Instructional Aide/Tester will be responsible for supporting GED and ESL staff in all areas of the Adult Education and Literacy program as needed by the Manager, Coordinator, Test Facilitator or their designee; provide clerical support and record-keeping for teachers; provide instructional assistance in the classroom that helps students achieve success helps students achieve success including supervising, mentoring, facilitating, instructing and assisting students with academics, language learning, computer software and other technology;

Pay Rate: $12 hourly

Physical Demands:

Standing, sitting, walking, carrying, handling, fine dexterity, vision, hearing, talking;

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or high school equivalency certificate; experience working with adult learners preferred; bilingual skills preferred; basic computer knowledge/skills are required; excellent organizational skills; excellent communication skills; exceptional employment or qualifications may be given special consideration;

Desirable Qualifications:

Bilingual skills preferred; experience working with adult learners preferred;
